The Waldorf Astoria is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Chicago. Their service is impeccable, their amenities are outstanding and their location is in the very heart of the Gold Coast. From the personalized handwritten notes left in the rooms to the staff in Bernard's, each guest is made to feel like they are the most important guest in the hotel.

Top notch in all respects. Excellent spa with sex-separate whirl pool, steam and sauna. Fantastic and incredibly maintained. We'd walk from the whirl pool to the sauna, dripping water. When we'd come out of the sauna, all had been mopped. Very discretely. Great bar. Fantastic front desk and concierge. |

My husband and I have been to Chicago numerous times. Never have we stayed at such a nice hotel in all of our travels, let alone Chicago. Every member of the staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived to the time we left. I could go into details, but I don't think I have enough space.
We own a restaurant in Milwaukee, and I wish I could send every one of our employees there to see what exemplary service really is. The rooms? Yes, we were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely beautiful with a fabulous view, but again, I think it is the wonderful staff that puts this hotel in a category by itself. I already told my husband I will never again stay in any other hotel. Spa is gorgeous. Went to restaurant after spa (dripping wet). Ordered a latte. Bartender could not have been more cordial or polite considering I came into this beautiful restaurant not properly dressed. If we had more time would have liked to eat there. Best hotel I have ever been to from fantastic room with beautiful tub and shower facilities to great staff. |
