The entire concept of Elysian is based on the glamour period of the 1920s and '30s. The overall architectural palette of dramatic black and white serves as a beautiful backdrop for the hotel's 'jewelry' pieces, the largest of them being magnificent lobby chandelier. Half of the 160 ultra-luxury two-room hotel suites (floors 10–22 of the 60-story building) are condo units owned by part time residents, but operated as hotel rooms when their owners are away. Condominiums on the upper 27 floors are not available as hotel accommodations. The most significant ground level feature: the richly-detailed, French-inspired motor court.
